U of T Forestry welcomes China Scholarship Council PhD students!

The University of Toronto has reached an agreement with the China Scholarship Council (CSC website) to promote education and research collaborations between China and the University of Toronto.  The China Scholarship Council offers scholarships to outstanding Chinese students who will pursue doctoral studies at U of T.

 PhD at the University of Toronto:The CSC will cover return airfare, visa application fees, and annual living allowance including the University Health Insurance Plan. The University will cover the candidate’s tuition fees (exclusive of other fees, such as registration or student association fees) and consider them for further financial support.

 How to Apply

 The School of Graduate Studies provides detailed instructions on how Chinese students can apply to PhD programs at the University of Toronto.

 In the Faculty of Forestry, PhD students conduct focused research under the supervision of one of our faculty members in one or a combination of our interdisciplinary research areas, which include forest conservation biology, environmental sustainability of managed forests, sustainable development, forest governance, and forest biomaterials science. https://academic.daniels.utoronto.ca/forestry/

 The application process proceeds as follows:

 Apply for the PhD program at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Toronto

 Once you receive an offer of admission from the U of T, apply for a CSC scholarship through your home university.

 Your candidacy for a scholarship will be evaluated and referred by your home university to the China Scholarship Council.
