The Faculty of Forestry is proud to have graduated almost 3,000 forestry professionals in it’s 100-plus year history. The volunteer-run Faculty of Forestry Alumni Association helps keep alumni connected to the Faculty and each other, and organizes occasional events.


Mission

The Mission of the Faculty of Forestry Alumni Association is to provide opportunities for its alumni to participate in and contribute to the continued growth and development of the Faculty of Forestry, to recognize alumni contributions to the Faculty and to society as a whole, and to promote interaction among alumni through programs that enrich their professional and personal lives.


Objectives

  • Engage and connect all FFAA Members.
  • Promote the interests of the FFAA and strengthen connections with the Faculty of Forestry itself.
  • Represent and serve as a collective voice of FFAA Members.
  • Help students and recent graduates transition into the workforce.
  • Establish strong links with the forest sector to promote the FFAA Members.
  • Promote forest research and education at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Forestry.
  • Foster a culture of professional development, information sharing, and transparency among recent graduates, students and alumni.
